Action on the digestive system:

It protects the mucosa and intestine,it decreases the occurrence of gastric and duodenal ulcer. It has laxative properties and corrects constipation. Estimulates the vesicle and prevents the formation of calculus.

It presents a balance between the main acids and poliinsaturated:linoleico or linioco, in a similar way to mother's milk.

It's a source of essential fat acids, not sinthesised by the organism and therefore very appropriate for the feedind of babies both suckling and weaned.

In the circulatory system:

It decreases the contents of pernicious colesterol in the blood:it increases the production of lipoproteins of high density(HDL) that favour the transport of colesterol for its elimination via bile decreasing the risk of coronary diseases.

If the process of oxidation means the aging of our organism(acidity=oxidation), the low acidity of the oil with DOP Siurana(less than 0,5º) increases the life expectancy of our consumers.

 

Gastronomy

The oil with DOP Siurana, especially fruited, communicates the taste, scent and vitamins of the Arbequina olive to the food, being especially indicated for: salads, mayonnaise, allioli, fine sauces, preserves, braised food...
When frying it has a very good response to high temperatures,increasing its volume due to the stability that fat acids and antioxidants transmit.

 

Thaks to its reduced and controlled production and its intrinsecal qualities, the oil with PDO Siurana has an exceptional quality,and has been affectionally known for a long time as the "Rolls-Royce" of the Virgin Oil.
